Smarter Floor Care for High-Traffic Industrial Spaces

Warehouse and distribution center floors take a beating. Forklift traffic, pallet debris, dust accumulation, and fluid spills are constant challenges and traditional floor scrubbing is labor-intensive, inconsistent, and hard to schedule around active operations.

McLemore now deploys autonomous floor scrubbing robots as part of our industrial cleaning programs. These machines map your facility, follow pre-programmed cleaning routes, navigate around equipment and personnel, and return to their docking station when finished, no manual intervention required.

The result is a consistently clean floor, reduced labor overhead, real-time cleaning documentation, and a safer environment for your team.

How Autonomous Floor Scrubbing Works

Our robots use industrial-grade sensors, LiDAR navigation, and AI-assisted mapping to clean your floors reliably, shift after shift, with minimal supervision.

1. Facility Mapping

During setup, the robot scans your facility and builds a detailed floor map: aisles, obstacles, no-go zones, and charging station locations.

2. Route Programming

McLemore programs cleaning routes tailored to your layout and schedule, specifying which zones to scrub, in what order, and at what times.

3. Autonomous Cleaning

The robot runs its route using LiDAR and depth cameras to navigate around forklifts, personnel, pallets, and other obstacles as they appear.

4. Reporting and Return

After each run, the robot returns to its dock to recharge and refill. Digital reports log coverage, performance, and any flagged issues.

Commercial-grade robots built for industrial environments

We deploy industrial-class autonomous floor scrubbers selected for their reliability, safety performance, and suitability for high-traffic warehouse environments. The machines we use are not consumer-grade products. They are built for facilities that operate around the clock.

Each robot is evaluated on navigation accuracy, obstacle detection, runtime per charge, water capacity, and the quality of its reporting tools before we deploy it in a client facility. McLemore handles vendor relationships, equipment selection, and ongoing fleet management. We source the best available commercial robots and update our fleet as technology improves.

When a better machine becomes available, we adopt it. That's our job.

Robots handle the repetitive work. Our people do the rest.

Autonomous floor scrubbing doesn't eliminate jobs. It changes what those jobs look like.

Running a scrubber across a 500,000 sq ft warehouse is physically demanding and repetitive. It also keeps your best cleaning professionals tied to a machine when they could be doing something else. When the robot handles open-floor coverage, our technicians work the areas that actually need a human: restrooms, break rooms, dock doors, high-touch surfaces, and anywhere that requires judgment instead of just mileage.

The facility gets cleaner. Our team has a better day. Less physical strain from heavy equipment, more time on the work that actually requires their skills. Same people. Better use of them.

McLemore runs on people. Autonomous cleaning is a tool that makes our team more effective, not a headcount reduction strategy.

"I wanted to take this time to send our thanks to your team, especially your floor care technicians. Since deploying robotic scrubbers, our floor technicians have shifted a significant portion of their hours to project work, specialty floor care, and detail cleaning that used to get deferred. They have taken floor maintenance to a new level, and it is really getting noticed! Thank you for making our facility shine, literally!"
